Familly Mission
Developing a mission statement is essentially leadership skill work. A mission statement gives us a vision of what is to be created. In a family it guides the creation of the family climate. A simple mission statement can unite a home around certain basic principles.

The statement can serve to help family members appreciate and understand the past, internalize the present circumstances of family members and actively engage themselves in planning for the future. The statement typically accentuates the positive memories that define "who we are and what we stand for" as a family. As the family focuses upon its core ideology, values and goals, it is hard not to have the family grow, mature and become closer. Having a written, objective set of standards greatly contributes to a family's peace, harmony, and security.
All family members then develop their personal action plan , along with feedback and check mechanism in order to move towards realizing the mission that they have set for themselves as a family. The time and efforts are definitely worth it !
